Campsite Facilities & Eco Credentials

At Packhorse Farm we pride ourselves in being an environmentally aware campsite. To this end, the lights in the toilet block are on sensors and all waste water is processed naturally by a reed bed. All taps are push button types, except for the disabled bathroom and baby changing area.

Throughout the campsite, you will see that we keep very close to nature. We have a small nature area with a stream running through. We allow this to grow wild to attract small invertebrates – you will see a variety of local species of butterflies, birds and insects throughout the year.

Rubbish is collected daily at several points around the site and is collected by a local recycling firm who have a zero to landfill policy. Please help us keep the site clean and pleasant for others (humans and animals!).

Campers arrival time is 1pm onwards and departure is 12noon, while Camping Pod arrival time is 2pm onwards and departure is 10am, allowing you to enjoy every moment of your holiday in Derbyshire!
